Clench your fists. Ball them up tight.  Feel the tension move from your hands to your arms to your shoulders to your head to your jaw to the rest of your body.  What does that feel like?  What are you holding on to?  What circumstances around you are you trying to control?  In what areas of your life are you just hanging on?  How does that make you feel?

Slowly let the tension release.  Start with your jaw, let it loosen, then your head, your neck, your shoulders.  Roll your head around loosely.  Feel the tension release all the way down your arms until it gets to your fists.  Slowly release them.  Let all tension fade from your body.  Hold your hands open.  Can you trust God with all the things you were holding on to?  How do you feel?  What gift would you ask from God in this moment?  Be open to receive.
