Think about a word, a phrase, a short scripture verse, or prayer that could be used to remind you of God’s presence.  It can be as simple as the loving repetition of the name, “Jesus.” Spend intentional time early and late each day repeating your word, phrase, or prayer.  Let it become to you as natural as breathing. Throughout the day, recall the word, phrase, or prayer that draws you to mindfulness of the presence of Christ with you.  Don’t be discouraged when you forget.  Simply remind yourself that you are his, he loves you, and begin again.  Notice whether you begin to see changes in your attitude or actions over time as you practice this experiment.
