Every morning this week pray: “God, help me see you today.”  Then simply pay attention.  Every evening this week, spend at least 10 minutes thinking through all the events of the day, where you were, what you did, how you felt at the time.  As you review your day, ask God to show you where he was.  Often our feelings are a good indicator of where God can be found.  Where did you feel close to God?  When did you feel far away?  What was going on at the time?  Ask God to show you how to be closer tomorrow.  Consider journaling and having a conversation with your family about what you are noticing about your life with God.
